The Location feature within FinsinTMS enables enterprises in transportation management and logistics to efficiently manage and maintain information on various locations integral to their transport operations.

View Locations


A recently added location is promptly displayed within the list of viewable locations. Users are granted the convenience of editing or deleting these locations directly from the viewable the “View locations” page.

Viewing location information helps users understand a given location, and can be important in planning and performing navigation tasks.

The "Edit Location" function allows users to update or edit existing information about a location. This may include changes to address, contact information, hours of operation, and other pertinent information. Maintenance ensures accuracy and up-to-date location information, which is essential for effective logistics planning and operational planning.

This function allows users to remove a location from the system. Deleting a location might be necessary if it is no longer in use, if the business no longer works with that location, or if it was added by mistake. Removing outdated or irrelevant locations helps keep the location database clean and organized. Before deleting a location, it is important to ensure that all necessary records and historical data are maintained.

Add Locations

Locations are integrated into the software program’s dedicated module for dealing with geographical factors. Within the “Add Locations” page, customers are granted the capability to input a mess of critical information.These encompass the location’s physical address, a comprehensive contact list, a designated nomenclature for the location, its corresponding classification, a unique identifying code and any specific prerequisites tied to the location.

This feature highlights the import and export functionalities. Users have the option to download the schema of the “Add location” page by simply clicking the designated download button. Additionally, users are empowered to both import and export CSV files containing location details seamlessly within this section. The process involves utilizing the dedicated import and export buttons, allowing for the smooth transfer of data in CSV format.
